I love drawing and illustrating since I was a kid. To me, it is a hobby, just like watching movies and playing video games!

The followings are some illustrations I created since 2016. Besides designing the user flow, wireframes and prototypes, I created these illustrations to bring personality to the product and provide a delightful experience for the users.
Icons
I created a set of icons for Oranj Upgrade Feature, which encourages the users to purchase the Premium Monthly Plan. I started from sketching the drafts on paper.

I hope that the design itself could deliver this message to the users - it is a delightful, trustworthy, and professional financial platform. So the marketing site and the product both use a lot of green/blue colors. In order to keep the consistency with design styleguide and marketing branding strategy, I selected the blue scheme for these icons.

Illustrations
Before the Investors add accounts or create goals, there is almost no data to be displayed on the dashboards. So I created a set of illustrations for those empty widgets.

I created illustrations to add a little bit humor to the design. For example, because of the financial audit reasons, the financial advisers might wait for weeks to get the account credentials and rep codes from the custodians. They sometimes get anxious about seeing the setup process paused at the same status for a long time. So I created this illustration to cheer them up "Hey don't worry. It's almost there. Your turtle postmen are on their way!"
